Since 1915, our temple has been a place to practice Jodo Shinshu Buddhism in Tacoma —fostering community, remembrance, and awakening.
Because of those who came before us, we are able to gather here today.

Essential improvements have been made to strengthen and preserve our temple—but we need your help to complete our work:

Hondo Audio. Updating & upgrading our 50+ year old audio system.

Side Door Roof. Rebuilding the severely damaged roof & support structure.

Front Doors. Securing the temple with new doors that replicate current doors.

Garage Roof. Replacing badly leaking roof & siding.

Garage Electrical. Addressing the hazardous garage wiring.
