Since 1915, our temple has been a place to practice Jodo Shinshu Buddhism in Tacoma —fostering community, remembrance, and awakening.
Because of those who came before us, we are able to gather here today.

​Essential improvements have been made to strengthen and preserve our temple—but we need your help to complete our work:

Hondo Audio. Updating & upgrading our 50+ year old audio system.

Side Door Roof. Rebuilding the severely damaged roof & support structure.

Front Doors. Securing the temple with new doors that replicate current doors.

Garage Roof. Replacing badly leaking roof & siding.

Garage Electrical. Addressing the hazardous garage wiring.
Those before us built our temple.
